Day By Day Iternary

Northern Wildlife Escape

Day 1: Arusha to Tarangire National Park

Start your adventure with a morning drive from Arusha to Tarangire National Park (approx. 2 hours). Upon arrival, embark on a full-day game drive, exploring the park’s rugged landscapes filled with Baobab trees and seasonal rivers. Watch as Elephants, Lions, Leopards, and Zebras roam freely. Enjoy a picnic lunch in the park and continue spotting wildlife before heading to your lodge or tented camp for dinner and an overnight stay near Tarangire.

Day 2: Lake Manyara National Park

After breakfast, travel 1.5 hours to Lake Manyara National Park, a small but diverse park offering stunning views of the Great Rift Valley. Explore its dense groundwater forest and open plains, where you might spot Tree-Climbing Lions, Flamingos, Hippos, and Baboons. Stop for a picnic lunch near the lake, then enjoy an afternoon safari before heading to Karatu for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 3: Serengeti National Park via Olduvai Gorge

Depart early for Serengeti National Park, stopping at Olduvai Gorge, one of the world’s most significant archaeological sites, where fossils of early human ancestors were discovered. Continue to Serengeti, arriving in time for lunch. In the afternoon, embark on a game drive, searching for Lions, Cheetahs, Leopards, and Wildebeest across the open savannah. Overnight at a tented camp in the heart of the Serengeti.

Day 4: Full Day in Serengeti

Spend the entire day exploring different regions of the Serengeti, following wildlife movements to maximize your chances of seeing big cats and large herds. Depending on the season, visit areas where the Great Migration is occurring or explore the Seronera Valley, known for its high concentration of predators. Enjoy a picnic lunch in the wild, then return to your camp for dinner and an evening of stargazing under the African sky.

Day 5: Ngorongoro Crater – Return to Arusha

Wake up early and drive to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, descending into the Ngorongoro Crater, an ancient volcanic caldera filled with a remarkable variety of wildlife. Spend the morning on a game drive, spotting the Big Five (Lion, Elephant, Leopard, Rhino, Buffalo) along with Hyenas, Zebras, Hippos, and Wildebeest. Stop for a picnic lunch by the hippo pool, then ascend the crater rim and begin your journey back to Arusha, arriving in the evening.
