6-Day Great Migration Safari
A True Masterclass in Nature’s Power and Precision
Experience one of the most incredible things you’ll ever see in the wild. Over the next six days, we’ll follow the journey of more than a million wildebeest and zebra as they move across the Serengeti in search of fresh grass. Along the way, we’ll witness powerful moments: dramatic river crossings, close calls with predators, and the constant rhythm of life on the move. This is a real masterclass in nature, showing you how every animal plays its part to survive in this great circle of life.

Survival and the Circle of Life
Out here, everything is connected. The migration is driven by the need for food and water, but along the way, life and death are constantly in motion.

Movement and Timing
This whole journey is a lesson in rhythm and precision. The animals don’t just move randomly, they follow ancient paths tied to rain, grass, and safety.
How we approach the Migration Safari
It is one thing to witness the Great Migration , and the other thing to understand what’s really happening out there. You won’t just see animals running across the plains; you’ll follow the journey of the herds, learn why they move, what dangers they face, and how every part of the ecosystem plays a role.
We’ve chosen the best locations for this migration safari, from the Central Serengeti to the Northern plains near the Mara River to give you the best chance of seeing river crossings, predator action, and the incredible coordination of nature at work. This migration is best suited for the period June to September.
And while the wildlife is wild, your experience will be smooth and comfortable — with handpicked camps, good food, and every detail taken care of, so you can focus on the moment.
Destinations on this 6-Day MigrationSafari
Central Serengeti

Endless plains, resident big cats, and the Seronera River make this region rich in year-round wildlife. It’s the Serengeti’s core — where the wild never stops and every day brings something new.
Ngorongoro Crater

This vast crater shelters lions, rhinos, elephants, and flamingos within its walls. It’s a natural amphitheater of wildlife, offering one of the most concentrated and scenic game-viewing experiences in all of Africa.
Northern Serengeti

Here, near the Mara River, the Great Migration reaches its peak. Wildebeest brave crocodile-infested waters, predators wait nearby, and silence turns to chaos. It’s raw, powerful, and unforgettable/
Itinerary
We leave Arusha early. The road takes us through green hills and quiet villages.
Before we head deep into the Serengeti, we break the journey with a special stop which is Ngorongoro Crater.
It’s not part of the migration route, but it’s too beautiful to pass by. And it helps us avoid a long, tiring drive all in one go.
We descend into the crater and find a world full of wildlife. Lions, buffalo, maybe even black rhino.
After lunch, we carry on toward the Serengeti. The land opens wide.
By evening, we reach Central Serengeti. Settle in, rest, and enjoy your first night in the wild.
We stay in Central Serengeti today for good reason.
This area is rich in wildlife all year round, not just during the migration.
The big cats love it here. Lions sleep under the acacia trees. Leopards hide in the riverbanks.
And while some herds have moved north, many still linger here, grazing and resting.
It’s a perfect place to slow down, take it all in, and enjoy the rhythm of the wild.
We explore at our pace, with the sun rising and setting over endless golden grass.
We head north today. The journey is part of the adventure.
We pass through quiet valleys and wide-open spaces.
The herds grow bigger. The air feels different up here.
By afternoon, we reach the Mara River.
Camps here are peaceful. The silence is deep, but full of life.
Today, we spend the whole day in the north.
This is where the Great Migration is at its best.
We might see the wildebeest crossing the Mara River running down the banks, jumping in, trying to get across.
Crocodiles wait in the water. Lions watch from the grass.
It’s full of action, but also quiet moments, we may see elephants by the river, giraffes walking through the trees.
We take our time. We follow the herds. Every hour brings something new.
One last morning drive in the north.
The light is golden. The herds are on the move again.
After breakfast, we turn south. The land shifts as we go.
By late afternoon, we’re back in Central Serengeti.
The familiar sounds of the bush welcome us again.
We rise early for one last game drive.
The Serengeti is fresh and quiet in the morning.
Maybe we spot a cheetah hunting, or elephants crossing the road.
Then we begin our journey back to Arusha or take you to the airport.
