Northern Wildlife Escape

Day 1: Arusha to Tarangire National Park

Start your adventure with a morning departure from Arusha, driving 2-3 hours to Tarangire National Park. Spend the day exploring this vast park known for its iconic baobab trees, large elephant herds, and diverse wildlife, including giraffes, lions, and zebras. Enjoy a picnic lunch at a designated site while admiring the scenic views. Continue with an afternoon game drive, searching for cheetahs and a variety of bird species. In the evening, check into a lodge or tented camp near the park for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 2: Lake Manyara National Park

After breakfast, drive approximately 1.5 hours to Lake Manyara National Park. Begin your day with a game drive through the lush groundwater forest, home to baboons, monkeys, and forest elephants. As you move towards the soda lake, marvel at the flocks of pink flamingos and other waterbirds. Keep an eye out for the park’s famous tree-climbing lions resting in the branches.
