Tour review

8 Days Tanzania Southern Safari Circuit

The Southern Circuit Safari is an exceptional 8-day adventure through Tanzania's hidden gems, showcasing its majestic wildlife, stunning landscapes, and diverse ecosystems. This journey takes you to four incredible parks—Selous Game Reserve (Nyerere National Park), Mikumi National Park, Udzungwa Mountains National Park, and Ruaha National Park—where you will have opportunities to engage in exciting game drives, peaceful boat safaris, and enlightening walking safaris. Whether you're spotting elephants in Mikumi or hiking through rainforests in Udzungwa, this safari promises unforgettable experiences.

Best Time To Visit

The best time to visit the Southern Circuit for wildlife viewing is during the dry season, from June to October. During this period, animals gather around water sources, making them easier to spot. The weather is also more pleasant, with less rainfall and clearer skies. The green season (November to May) is less crowded and offers lush landscapes, but wildlife sightings may be more challenging due to the dense vegetation.
