Today is dedicated to exploring the cultural diversity of Mto wa Mbu, home to over 120 ethnic groups, through engaging group activities and food tourism.

Morning:

• Village Walk: Begin with a guided walk through Mto wa Mbu’s farms and markets, interacting with locals and learning about the area’s ethnic groups, including the Maasai and Makonde.

• Market Visit: Explore the lively market, where you’ll see local crafts like beadwork and wood carvings, and have the chance to purchase handmade goods.

• Cooking Class & Meal: Enjoy a group cooking class with local “mamas,” preparing traditional Tanzanian dishes like ugali and nyama choma, followed by a communal lunch.
