Itinerary
Your day begins with an early pick-up from your hotel in Arusha or Moshi. We’ll take a comfortable drive, moving through various landscapes as we approach Lake Manyara National Park.
Upon arrival at the park gate, your game drive adventure begins. We will explore the different habitats within Lake Manyara, from the groundwater forest, known for its large baboon population and blue monkeys, to the open grasslands where you can find zebras, giraffes, wildebeest, and buffalo.
We will drive towards the lake’s edge, renowned for its incredible birdlife, including pelicans and the famous flamingos. This is also a prime area to spot large elephant herds. Throughout the day, your guide will help you search for the elusive tree-climbing lions, a unique behavior found here.
A delicious picnic lunch will be served at a scenic spot within the park, allowing you to relax and enjoy the wild surroundings. After lunch, we continue our game drive, taking in more of the park’s wonders and panoramic views of the Great Rift Valley.
In the late afternoon, we will begin our journey back to your hotel in Arusha or Moshi, reflecting on a memorable day filled with wildlife and stunning natural beauty.
