Itinerary
Your extraordinary day begins with a very early morning pick-up from your hotel in Arusha or Moshi. The drive takes you towards the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, ascending into the highlands. As you approach the crater rim, you’ll be treated to magnificent views of this geological wonder.
After completing park formalities, we begin our exciting descent 600 meters (about 2,000 feet) down to the crater floor. Once inside, your full-day game drive starts. The crater floor is a natural haven, packed with a remarkable density of wildlife. Your guide will navigate through the diverse habitats, pointing out lions, elephants, buffaloes, zebras, wildebeest, and hyenas. Keep a keen eye out for the elusive leopard and the critically endangered black rhinoceros.
We will pause for a delicious picnic lunch at a designated spot, often near a hippo pool, allowing you to enjoy your meal surrounded by the sounds and sights of the wild.
The afternoon continues with more game driving, exploring different sections of the crater floor and taking in the stunning scenery. By late afternoon, we will begin our ascent out of the crater and start our return journey to your hotel in Arusha or Moshi, filled with incredible memories of this unique safari destination.
