Mt. Kilimanjaro National Park

The Kilimanjaro national park is located in the southern part of the equator in the Kilimanjaro region. It is 300km from the equator. The Kilimanjaro national park includes Mount Kilimanjaro which has two peaks that are Kibo and Mawenzi in which Mount Kilimanjaro is the second highest mountain in the world after Mount Evarest, and it is the highest mount in Africa.

The Kilimanjaro national park has its headquarters in Marangu about 44km from Moshi town. The national park includes the whole of Mount Kilimanjaro which is about 1,820 meters above the sea level.

Each year there are lots of visitors that are attracted to climb the Kilimanjaro mountain. People from all over come and visit/climb the Kilimanjaro mountain.
