Ruaha Hilltop Lodge

Ruaha Hilltop Lodge is a charming, mid-range safari lodge perched on the slopes of Ideremle Mountain just outside Ruaha National Park in southern Tanzania, about 15 km from the park gate, offering panoramic views over vast savannah plains and abundant wildlife. The property features around 27 comfortable cottages (bandas) designed for solo travellers, couples, families, and groups, each with private verandas and essential amenities like ensuite bathrooms, hot water, 24-hour electricity, and mosquito nets, and many enjoy spectacular sunrise and sunset views over the wilderness.

Communal facilities include an open-plan reception area, dining room, bar, and large terrace where you can relax with a sundowner while watching giraffes, elephants, kudus, and other wildlife from the lodge deck.
